Who We Are
Founded in 1982 with a single salvage yard in California, Copart has grown into a global auto auction company. Since 2016 Copart Germany has been remarketing salvage vehicles of fleet managers and insurance companies through online car auctions for national and international dealers, dismantlers and body shops. We currently operate in more than 200 locations in 11 countries.
What We Do
Copart specializes in the resale and remarketing of used and accident vehicles for a variety of Sellers, including insurance companies, rental car companies and dealers. We have a large inventory of classic BMWs, used Volkswagen and affordable Mercedes and much more. Sign up to become a Copart Germany Member and bid and buy in our weekly online auctions every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. We accept business customers both with and without a valid EU VAT ID. Please note, if you do not have a valid EU VAT ID, the account will be activated without an EU VAT ID.

We currently hold two ISO certifications: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

Since October 2019, Kai Siersleben has been the Managing Director of Copart Germany. Mr. Siersleben is equipped with more than two decades of experience as a Managing Director for global technology companies in the field of motor vehicle claims management. He pursues the goal of fully establishing Copart in the German automotive market with his innovative spirit, high motivation and vision.
